ok so i've been grumpy all week and since today is a universal friday [in my universe anyway] i'm trying to be ... perky.

perks me up immensely.

i'm listening to tigermilk on repeat, but not on purpose. the cd player is being hinky and my legs are being lazy.

my mother told me on the phone that my lesson for this year is to learn how to have thick skin.

i really thought i had it down, i really really did. but one stinkin hole and the skin rips wide open. so now i have to start building up my social immunities again.

have you read the book nickeled and dimed yet? i have 2 hours to finish reading it so i can go to a book discussion tonight.

so, you know. yay.
