we used to have this dog, whose name was snowy. he was some type of a purebred sheltie that my family rescued. as a result of his gnarly inbredness, he was deaf.
he used to fall asleep on the porch patio and my brother and i would take bits of his kibble and sneak up to him [so as not to make any vibrations that could potentially wake him] and we'd put the food within one inch of his nose.
and then we'd laugh like hyenas when he would start whimpering and drooling in his sleep.
i'm so glad he was hit by a car.
